Licensed Clinical Psychologist

PSYPACT Certified Provider

I am a Developmental Psychologist who has specialized training, education, and experience in navigating life’s complexities across the lifespan. Supporting individuals in all phases of life – such as launching into adulthood, marriage, the birth of your first child, or retirement – is a personal passion of mine. A trusting relationship with an experience provider can make all the difference when faced with major changes or unexpected difficulties, or in helping to change long-standing patterns that are interfering with living and experiencing life to the fullest.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who initially trained for many years as a trauma specialist, which then catapulted into a love for all things neurology. I am board certified in neurofeedback, and am also a certified heart rate variability biofeedback provider through Heart Math. I have a specialty Psypact certification which allows me to treat via telehealth across 43 different states.

I spent time teaching in an APA accredited doctoral program as an associate professor with a special passion for teaching trauma and ethics. I am also an active member of The Chicago Center for Psychotherapy, having completed a year-long fellowship in 2017 and am currently finishing my two-year psychodynamic psychotherapy intensive program.

Through my work in various settings over the last 15 years, I have encountered many clients with unaddressed neurodivergence, quickly realizing how crucial incorporating the neurological profile is within all forms of treatment. I then continued to work with various forms neurodivergence across the lifespan – including individuals, families, and couples. I continue to build my understanding of how to best empower those with neurodivergent brains.

I have used my clinical expertise in many settings, including community mental health, elementary education, college counseling, rehabilitation and nursing facilities, and spent the last eight years working in outpatient private practice.
